Do you have Multiple Missing Teeth?
If you have lost multiple teeth, you may be wearing a denture or partial denture. This can be a real burden, causing embarrassment, discomfort and generally having a real negative impact on your quality of life. Did you know you don't have to eat soft foods or wear dentures for the rest of your life? Implants are a viable and clinically proven alternative to missing teeth.
- Multiple teeth can be replaced with just a few implants. The implant screws can support a bridge of up to four teeth in a row, each stable and sturdy and guaranteed for life with good hygiene and maintenance.
- Depending on the volume of jawbone, dental implants and abutments can be placed on the same day or over a period of months. The implants will look and feel exactly like your natural teeth.
- After a period of healing, your implants will be fully integrated and will look, feel and function just like natural teeth!
Life Benefits
- If missing teeth are not replaced with implants the jawbone will recede, giving your face a sunken appearance. Implants give you a youthful boost.
- You can bite or chew a variety of foods.
- You can live free of worry and concern about your teeth.

TT was missing all his molars and unhappy with the appearance of his upper front teeth. Radiographs and CT scanning showed insufficient bone in the upper arch due to the enlarged maxillary sinus. Sinus lift procedures were performed followed by implant placement in all four quadrants of the mouth. Crowns and bridges were then placed on the implants along with new anterior restorations to improve function and aesthetics.
The sinus lift procedures were carried out to increase the bone volume so that implants could be placed. Implants were placed following a 9 month period after the sinus grafting. The final restorations were then fabricated 6 months after implant placement. It is important to respect the healing times for sinus grafting and implant placement. Occasionally sinus lift and implant placement can be performed at the same time.

JR presented with missing lower molars on one side of her mouth. The upper molars were over erupting as they had nothing to bite against and the opposite side of the mouth was being overloaded with all the biting pressure. The heavily restored upper molars were restored with crowns to increase their strength and to shorten them as they had erupted so far. Two implants were placed in the lower jaw and restored with two crowns 3 months later. JR can now comfortably eat on both sides of her mouth.
